Batting: 100% Organic Cotton Batting
This applique quilt was designed and created for my sweet great-nephew, Jaxson Scott E. This is my first self designed applique quilt. The airplane was created using 'Groove On' fabrics by Quilting Treasures (purchased from fabric.com). I used wonder-under and also satin stitched the pieces in place. The quilting is a randon stipple stitch on the outside of the airplane. For the sash I used a dark brown fabric and to bind the quilt I used Kona in black. The backing is called 'Tiny Toys' by Riley Blake Designs, also purchased from fabric.com.
