Thread:
  • Piecing:  Coats and Clark, Dual Duty XP General Purpose, White (0100)
  • Quilting:  Coats and Clark, Dual Duty XP General Purpose, Blue Clouds (9343)

Batting:  100% Organic Cotton Batting

The front of the quilt features 30 blocks featuring UNC Chapel Hill and coordinating blue fabrics. It is made from a modified Hip to be Square quilt pattern.  The quilt is constructed with 100% cotton quilting fabric, 100% cotton thread, and 100% organic cotton batting. The back of the quilt is white with a blue variegated thread.

I machine quilted the entire quilt in a random stipple pattern that enhances the large blocks. The binding has been both machine and hand stitched.
